The Planet Launches G6950 SATA, G6950 SATA Plus Dedicated Servers

IT hosting provider The Planet has added two new affordable dedicated servers to its product portfolio – the G6950 SATA and the G6950 SATA Plus.
The new servers come with the the Intel Pentium G6950 dual-core 2.8GHz 32nm processor and are packed into the Dell PowerEdge R210 chassis.
With the Pentium G6950 SATA customers get 2GB of RAM, a 250GB SATA hard drive and 2TB of bandwidth for $99 per month. The G6950 SATA Plus package for $125 per month provides double the RAM and HDD capacity.
All new server purchases from The Planet receive free-of-charge the choice of a cPanel or Parallels Plesk control panel, free Symantec antivirus software and 10GB of free cloud storage, the press release says.
