The HP ProBook 4425s, Hewlett-Packard’s first notebook with an AMD quad-core processor option, is now available.
The 14-inch ProBook 4425s CPU choices include the AMD Phenom II Quad-Core P920 at 1.6GHz, AMD Turion II Dual-Core P520 at 2.3GHz, and AMD Athlon II Dual-Core P320 at 2.1GHz.
HP has released the ProBook 6455b/6555b, 6450b/6550b, 4325s/4425s/4525s, and the HP 425/625, new low-cost business-class notebooks.
The laptops start at $549 feature the latest Intel and AMD processors.
For business users, HP released today a tablet PC, an ultraportable, and four new s-series ProBook laptops.
The HP EliteBook 2740p is an ultra-thin, multitouch-enabled convertible tablet, while the HP EliteBook 2540p is “the lightest HP model,” starting at only 3.3 pounds. Both EliteBooks include 12.1-inch displays and the latest 2010 Intel Core processors and meet the MIL-STD 810G military standards for vibration, dust, humidity, altitude, and high and low temperatures.

The HP EliteBook 8440p/w and 8540p/w series are military-grade ruggedized notebooks with magnesium-alloy cases. On the other side, the ProBook b series – the 6440b and 6540b – are affordable business laptops.
The HP ProBook laptops are affordable mobile systems designed for small business professionals and their everyday office applications. The HP ProBook lineup currently includes the 13.3-inch 4310s, 15.6-inch 4510s, and 17.3-inch 4710s, all based on Intel’s processor technology.
