Hewlett-Packard (HP) has unleashed a new cloud storage package to allow its customers implement cloud computing technology quickly.
HP has unveiled a new cloud storage technology package, dubbed as CloudStart which will allow clients to create private cloud computing environments, technology news website Managing Automation says.
Hewlett-Packard’s latest notebooks for budget-minded business users – the HP 425 and 15.6″ HP 620- are now available.
The 14-inch HP 425 is based on AMD’s latest Mainstream Platform and comes with the AMD Turion II, Athlon II, or V Series CPU, ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4200 integrated graphics, up to 8GB of DDR3 memory, and up to 500GB hard drive. On the other side, the HP 620 is powered by Intel’s previous generation Core 2 Duo and Celeron CPUs, and has Intel GMA 4500MHD integrated GPU, up to 4GB DDR3 RAM, and up to 320GB HDD.
HP has announced new Converged Infrastructure products, including the HP ProCurve V1410 Switch, HP StorageWorks X310 Data Vault, HP StorageWorks X1000 Network Storage System, and HP StorageWorks P2000 G3 SAS Modular Array (MSA).

Hewlett-Packard has announced the HP Z200 SFF, a small form factor workstation.
Measuring 13.3 x 15 x 3.95 inches, the HP Z200 SFF comes with dual core Intel Core i3 and i5 processors or quad core Intel Xeon 3400 series. It supports up to 16GB of DDR3 ECC memory, up to 2TB of storage, and professional 2D and 3D graphics options.
For business users, HP released today a tablet PC, an ultraportable, and four new s-series ProBook laptops.
The HP EliteBook 2740p is an ultra-thin, multitouch-enabled convertible tablet, while the HP EliteBook 2540p is “the lightest HP model,” starting at only 3.3 pounds. Both EliteBooks include 12.1-inch displays and the latest 2010 Intel Core processors and meet the MIL-STD 810G military standards for vibration, dust, humidity, altitude, and high and low temperatures.
HP has released the Compaq 8000f Elite Ultra-slim Desktop PC for business users, “the first Windows-based desktop PC to be free of brominated flame retardants (BFRs) and polyvinyl chloride (PVC) from the wall to the mouse”.
The space saving Compaq 8000f Elite comes with Intel’s Core 2 processors, Intel vPro technology, the GMA 4500 series integrated graphics, up to 4GB of DDR2 RAM, up to 250GB of hard drive space or a 64GB solid state drive, and a DVD burner.
Hewlett-Packard has released the refreshed HP EliteBook and HP ProBook business laptop series for 2010, featuring the latest Intel Core i3, i5 and i7 processors.
The HP EliteBook 8440p/w and 8540p/w series are military-grade ruggedized notebooks with magnesium-alloy cases. On the other side, the ProBook b series – the 6440b and 6540b – are affordable business laptops.
The HP iPAQ Glisten, a smartphone that has been announced recently by Hewlett-Packard and AT&T, is now available for purchase.

Dell has released the OptiPlex 780 USFF (Ultra Small Form Factor) desktop PC and Optiplex 380 desktop, available in Minitower, Desktop and Small Form Factor.
HP has released recently the Compaq 500B Microtower and Compaq 505B Microtower desktop PC, designed for budget-conscious small businesses.
The main difference between the desktops is that the Compaq 500B is based on dual core Intel Celeron or Pentium processors, whereas the Compaq 505B uses AMD Athon X2 dual core chips. Both PCs come with integrated or dedicated graphics, up to 4GB of DDR3 RAM, up to 500GB of hard drive space, and Windows 7 OS.
