Dell’s offerings now include the EqualLogic PS6000XVS and PS6010XVS and the PowerVault MD3200 and MD3200i storage arrays.

The Dell EqualLogic PS6000XVS and EqualLogic PS6010XVS will be available in early August, while the Dell PowerVault MD3200 and PowerVault MD3200i will be available this week.

The MD1200 and MD1220 are designed for 6Gb/s SAS environments and Dell PowerEdge servers with the new PERC H800 HostRAID adapter.

The MD1200 expansion array can support twelve 2.5-inch or 3.5-inch SAS hard drives and SAS solid state drives, whereas the MD1220 supports up to twenty four 2.5″ SAS HDDs and SSDs. Both units have a 2U form factor.

The PERC H800 enables expansion to 8 enclosures, 4 per port.

Dell’s PowerVault MD1200 and MD1220 start at $4,399 at the Dell SMB online store.
