Dell has launched the new Vostro 3000 series small business notebook PCs, including the Vostro 3300, 3400, 3500, and 3700.

With 13.3-, 14-, 15.6- and 17.3-inch LED-backlight anti-glare displays, the Dell Vostro 3300, 3400, 3500, and 3700 are based on the Intel Core i3, i5, or i7 CPUs, depending on model. The laptops come with the Intel integrated or nVidia GeForce dedicated graphics, up to 6GB of DDR3 memory, up to 500GB of hard drive capacity, a DVD writer, and Windows 7 Home or Professional OS.

Dell has unveiled the Vostro V13 ultra-slim and affordable business laptop, featuring a 13.3-inch LED backlight display and Intel’s ultra-low voltage processors.

The Dell Vostro V13 weighs at 3.5 pounds and is 0.65 inches thin. It comes with the Intel Core 2 Duo SU7300, Core 2 Solo SU3500 or Celeron 743 ULV processor and includes the GMA 4500MHD integrated graphics, up to 4GB of DDR3 memory, up to 500GB HDD, a sealed 6-cell battery, an optional external DVD burner, built-in web cam with microphone, WiFi, Bluetooth, a Gigabit LAN connector, one standard USB port and an eSATA/USB port, an ExpressCard slot, a 5-in-1 media card reader, and a VGA port.

Dell PowerEdge T110 Server

The Dell PowerEdge T110 is a new affordable tower server, featuring a single Intel Xeon 3400 series processor, the Intel 3420 chipset, up to 16GB of unbuffered DDR3 memory, up to four non-hot plug 3.5″ SATA or SAS hard drives for a maximum 4TB of storage capacity, and a “compact and quiet office-friendly chassis”.

The PowerEdge T110 has an onboard SATA controller without RAID functionality, but there’s a variety of optional SAS/SATA storage controllers supporting up to RAID 10, as well as additional host bus adapters for connection to other storage devices. The basic network adapter is an embedded dual Gigabit Ethernet NIC, which can be accompanied by various single- and dual-port Gigabit cards. For server management, the T110 includes a baseboard controller.

The system is based on the Intel Q45 chipset and features an Intel Core 2 Quad, Core 2 Duo, Pentium Dual Core or Celeron CPU and up to 8GB of Non-ECC DDR3 1066MHz memory. The OptiPlex 780 is configurable with up to two 3.5- or 2.5-inch storage units, including standard hard drives and solid state drives. The drives can be configured without RAID or in RAID 0 and 1 modes. Optical drive options include a DVD ROM or a DVD burner, but the system can be also configured without optical device.
