American Express OPEN, the small business division of American Express, today launched AcceptPay online invoicing and payment solution that allows business owners to create, send and track invoices.
According to American Express, AcceptPay benefits include faster payments and improved efficiency, variety of payment types, added financial control, and ease of use.
Intuit has added GoBiz Solutions’ GoBiz XL , a Web applications suite for small business operations, to the App Center in QuickBooks Pro and Premier 2010 and to Intuit Workplace.
“The GoBiz XL suite includes Contact Management, Sales Cycle Management, Service/Dispatch Management and Inventory Management applications and can be accessed through many devices with Web browsers. GoBiz XL is now integrated and synchronized with QuickBooks to provide a combined front and back office SMB solution,” the press release says.
Hosting.com, a managed hosting, cloud hosting and colocation solutions provider, today announced enhancements to the Cloud Enterprise solution.
“Access to high performance SAN (EMC) storage, increased computer resources (8GB of RAM now 32 and 4 virtual CPUs now 8 ) and support for seven additional operating systems (including RedHat and Windows Datacenter 2008 R2) highlight the enhancements,” the press release says.
Pricing for the Hosting.com Cloud Enterprise offering starts at $125 per month.
Amazon Web Services (AWS) has announced the Virtual Private Cloud (Amazon VPC), enabling enterprises to connect their existing infrastructure to a set of isolated AWS compute resources via a Virtual Private Network (VPN) connection.
All current and future Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (Amazon EC2) customer accounts are enabled to use Amazon VPC, but customers will not be charged for Amazon VPC until they begin using it.
PowerVPS, a provider of virtualization and cloud hosting services, has unveiled new cloud hosting packages for small businesses.
The new packages are called Fuse, Force, and Ignite and feature cloud servers offering a complete managed solution including the operating system, core services management, system and security monitoring, and data backups.
