RIM Releases Free BlackBerry Enterprise Server Express (BESX)

The Blackberry smartphone maker Research In Motion (RIM) has announced the BlackBerry Enterprise Server Express (BESX), a free version of BES.

BES Express is aimed at small- to medium-sized businesses (SMBs). It provides BlackBerry email, calendar, contacts, notes and tasks syncing services and basic BES security.

BESX will be available soon and will initially work with Microsoft Exchange 2010, 2007 and 2003 and Microsoft Windows Small Business Server 2008 and 2003.
