AMD Opteron X12 12-Core Processors Leaked

Online retailer Provantage has leaked details and pricing of the upcoming 12-core AMD Opteron processors, codenamed “Magny-Cours”.
The offered Opteron X12 6100 series server CPUs have clock speeds from 1.7GHz to 2.4GHz, 16MB or 18MB of cache, and a power consumption between 65 and 105 Watts, depending on model. The chips use the Socket G34 and are based on 45nm production process.
The twelve-core Opterons are priced between $293 to $1,491.
